There are several different types of hands that will fit different types of quartz clock movements:

Euroshaft which will fit most of the German movements that have this shaft type

NEF (non euroshaft) which fit the roundshaft movements and are press fitted to the shaft

Microshaft (mini shaft) which have a very thin shaft and are generally used for carriage clocks.
